Richard Branson's new space plane

In the middle of the Mojave Desert today, Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson unveiled a new space plane that will carry the passenger space rocket to a launch height of 48,000 feet. a $200,000 price tag for tickets limits the thrill of commercial space flight to only the wealthiest. The maiden voyage could possibly be before the end of the decade. After the space plane carries the rocket to it's launch height and releases it, passengers will experience four minutes of weightlessness. Branson will take his family on the maiden voyage and 250 other wealthy people have reserved seats.
