Watchmen

A complex, multi-layered mystery adventure, Watchmen is set in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society, and the "Doomsday Clock" - which charts the USA's tension with the Soviet Union - is permanently set at five minutes to midnight. When one of his former colleagues is murdered, the washed-up but no less determined masked vigilante Rorschach sets out to uncover a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his former crime-fighting legion - a ragtag group of retired superheroes, only one of whom has true powers - Rorschach glimpses a wide-ranging and disturbing conspiracy with links to their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the future. Their mission is to watch over humanity...but who is watching the watchmen?

The Rocker

A failed drummer is given a second chance at fame. Robert "Fish" Fishman is the extremely dedicated and astoundingly passionate drummer for the eighties hair band Vesuvius, who is living the rock n' roll dream until he is unceremoniously kicked out of the band. Twenty years after his rock star fantasies are destroyed, just when Fish has finally given up all hope, he hears that his nephew's high school rock band A.D.D. is looking for a new drummer. They reluctantly make him the newest member of the band, giving him a chance to reclaim the rock God throne he's always thought he deserved, and taking the young band along for the ride of their lives.

Rainn Wilson is so hilarious. I love him on the office as Dwight Schrute.

Eagle Eye

A slacker and a single mother are framed as terrorists and forced to become members of a cell with plans to carry out a political assassination.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Animated

The 90-minute premiere episode of the CGI animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars will have a limited release in U.S. cinemas starting August 15th.

Not only will this be the first 3-D animated movie for the highly-successful saga, but this will also be the first Star Wars movie not released through Twentieth Century Fox. Fox released all six Star Wars movies, plus the original microseries The Clone Wars on home video.

The new series will premiere this fall on The Cartoon Network, later airing on TNT.

The Punisher: War Zone

The trailer for the upcoming "Punisher" sequel, called "Punisher: War Zone". n the new film, continuing his crusade to punish violent criminals in America, former FBI agent Frank Castle (Ray Stevenson) arrives in New York to take on an underworld boss who plots to take control of the underworld.

James Bond: Quantum of Solace

The James Bond movies have always been some of my favorites to watch. Daniel Craig did a good job portraying Bond in Casino Royale and he will play Bond again in the next addition, Quantum of Solace which will open in theaters November 7, 2008.

Saw V

I just saw the teaser trailer for Saw V and thought it looked a bit interesting. I wasn't a big fan of the series until i went to the midnight showing of Saw IV with my girlfriend. I'm not quite sure why I liked the movie so much, it was a bit grotesque, but somehow I got hooked. After I saw that one I went home and watched all of the previous ones. The teaser came out July 24th and the actual movie will open in theaters at midnight on October 24th. Sounds like a good Halloween movie :)
